Eliza came to us with tweleve other rats when their owner no longer wanted them all. Eliza is an affection hound, ready to snuggle and play with her human. But she is also quite happy to play with her sister, making the most of her hammocks and toys and climbing the bars of her cage to explore. She is definitely ready to find her forever home with someone willing to give her the love she deserves.

Dumbo Beige Hooded Rex    DOB - around November 1st, 2010
Nicole came to us with twelve other rats when their owner no longer wanted the colony. This little sweetie is eager to explore but is equally happy to get affection. She loves having a nice new home with lots of space to run and climb, and then some comfy hammocks in which she can lie back and relax, or snuggle and nap with her sister.

Nicole must be adopted with her sister Eliza.

Black Berkshire    DOB - around March 1st, 2011
Jessie is ready to play. When?! you may ask. Now! Jessie is full of energy and fun and is ready to make the most of her time with her friends. She's a beautiful rat whose black fur makes her look elegant, but don't let that fool you; she's all kid!

Jessie must be adopted with her friend Maria.

Himalayan    DOB - around December 1st, 2010
Maria has taken on a bit of a matriarchal role at the rescue. Quite and demure, she commands a kind of presence that demands respect. But she can be just as cuddly and sweet as a little girl. She loves to snack on veggies and can often be found surveying her cage from the comfort of a hammock.

Panda and her sisters were surrendered to CCH when severe illness hit her owner's family. It's obvious they were loved in their home because they are very playful and comfortable with people. Happy to play on their own, they get along very well, but when people enter the room, they love the attention.

Panda must be adopted with her sister Bear.

Sofie was found abandoned with her friends, and brought to CCH on Christmas. She was very busy taking care of her litter born on New Year's Day, but she's now showing signs of being a very lovable, and loving, pet.

Sofie must be adopted with her sister Iris.

_Champagne Self    DOB - around June 30th, 2011
Iris was found abandoned with her friends, and brought to CCH on Christmas. She gave birth to a litter of babies on the 6th of January, but it's not holding her back as she adapts to being in a loving and caring environment. Shy at first, she is coming out of her shell and we think she'll be a wonderful pet.

Iris must be adopted with her sister Sofie.
